Nine Star Ki Astrology (aka Feng Shui Astrology) refines the knowledge associated with Feng Shui. This is achieved through the understanding of how time and the impact of the heavens on humankind and nature take place.

In ancient times, it was believe that the universal Ki energy started it's journey from deep within the cosmos, this energy was filtered primarily by 9 stars - thus the name 9 Star Ki was born. The stars which filter this energy start with the star Vega (Yin) continue through the stars of Ursa Major (The Plough/The Great Bear) and pass finally through Polaris (Yang).

In addition to the 9 stars mentioned above, Nine Star Ki is influenced by a number of different cycles - the primary cycle being one of 9 year duration but within each year lie monthly, daily and even hourly cycles.

History


The history of Nine Star Ki is influenced by the history of Feng Shui in China, from Tibet and laterly from Japan (whereit is now primarily associated). Indeed, the many different astrology systems emanating from these regions share much incommon.

For example - the Bagua with it's 8 trigrams, is common across these lands. It's eight trigrams are symbols forthe energetic interactions between the cosmic forces of yin and yang.

The broken lines of the Bagua represent Yin andthe solid Yang and the encoded representations of universal knowledge and natural order are symbolised by the trigrams.

As simple a representational system as the Bagua is - it's interpretation has profound results which can help uswork effectively and transform our lives from that of the mediocre to that of full potential realisation.

 

The Imbalance


One or two years ago (ok - several millenia ;-). Humankind was more in touch with nature, aware of the gentle balance ofthe eco-systems and how humans fitted in.

At this time, those armed with this ancient knowledge were better prepared todeal with the many crises, and by contrast, opportunities life presented.
