Your First Impressions NumberThis is the third number of your Feng Shui Astrology reading, it equates to the Rising sign in Western astrology. It is also referred to as your energetic number and indeed the Baby's First Impressions Number. This number is your external facade - how you appear to others through the actions you take and also the impression you make. This is how you are perceived by people who do not know you very well.
How to find your first impressions numberTo determine your first impressions number you must first have calculated your childhood number and your adult number. Now take a look at the series of Magic Squares depicted below. Take special note of the central square (aka the Magic Square of Bagua - the square with the 5 in the centre). To differentiate the squares, I will refer to the Magic Square of Bagua as the MSB
 For example, if you have a childhood number of 2 and your adult number is 1, you would look to the central bottom square, look at the position of your principal number in the MSB (the central square - top left hand corner is a 4) thus giving you the combination 1.2.4.
